Let it snow!

Stuck inside. Only have four thursdays to complete my Christmas shopping and now I'm snowed in! I decided to try and make up for my lack of blogging by posting twice in one day! I'm contemplating ending my personal blog...especially since 29 days have passed since my last entry...well, except for the one I did ten minutes ago...that one doesn't count. I don't even remember how I added the pumpkin man that Clayton is sick of looking at. I am going to attempt to remember. Looky there! I did it again! Yay me.

Bubba's Back!!

Day four with Bubba. What we've seen and heard so far: 2 major cusswords (MF doesn't sound so ugly with a speech impediment!), 2 minor cusswords, 2 minor fits, 1 major thought he was going to explode, kill me, and kill himself fit!!

Overall, he's a great kid who needs stability in his life. We're working on getting him into Head Start with WSISD. Not sure it's going to work out, but if it does, we will be keeping him until his mother decides she wants him back or the state decides she can't have him.

Carnivals Aren't Lame

Another successful Harvest Festival has come and gone. You know it was a success when you feel like you've been run over by a freight train the next day!

My kids said this one was the best so far!! Jordan even got into a slight debate with a kid in her class that made the brazon claim that all carnivals were lame!! I'm pretty sure she set him straight!!

I told them when we got home this afternoon that they could eat as much candy as they wanted as long as keeping their mouths full kept their mouths quiet!!! I know I probably lost some nominations for "mother of the year," but I figure ,if I took a nap, they were going to eat all the candy they wanted anyway and hide the wrappers under their mattresses! At least this way, I wasn't setting them up for failure...which I think should actually earn me some mothering bonus points!!!
