Try using a file recovery program such as the free programs Recuva (http://www.piriform.com/recuva) or Testdisk (http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk). Both programs are recommended by Lifehacker.com readers, with Recuva being deemed the easiest and most user-friendly of the two and Testdisk being the better choice but less user-friendly. If Recuva fails, try Testdisk.<br /><br />If it's too late to recover the files, at least you'll know what to do if it ever happens again.
