Last week was C.R.A.Z.Y. It all started with a little impromptu gathering for the 4th of July. Wes grilled some burgers, I made my famous hot sauce, Emily brought some yummo brownies, and these three made some chocolate chip cookies!
It was their first time to read a recipe and follow it. I caught Abbee just before she dumped a tablespoon of baking soda (instead of a teaspoon!) into the flour mixture! While precision isn't their strong suit, in the end, the cookies were delicious. The ends justify the means, right? These guys set up Ryan's Facebook account! While I'm not sure what that has to do with the 4th of July, the picture was in my camera, so I thought I'd share!
Cuteness...
Weirdness...
Tiredness...
After we ate, swam, and gabbed, the little guys watched a movie while the "big guys" all gathered in MY BEDROOM to watch tons of fireworks we could see in the distance! (So much for just leaving the mess and closing the door!)
Yes, James and Ryan are sitting on my FOLDED LAUNDRY! I guess I should be better at putting it away, but I hate that part!
I think the only qualifications for a successful 4th of July party are food and fireworks. Therefore, I deem this celebration an overwhelming SUCCESS!!!
Wow...LeXi and my eyes really are the same color! Very cool...this was a fun night!
